Here Are 35+ Ways You Can Help Ukraine Right Now
A comprehensive list of charities, websites, and give links
“If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.” Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds.” — Yakob ben Yoseph, brother of Jesus of Nazareth
As everyone not living under a rock now knows, Russia invaded Ukraine this week. (Here’s the actual reason why.)
After chatting with friends on the ground and in surrounding nations, I can tell you that the refugee situation is already dire. I’ve been compiling a list of places we can donate to support their efforts, hoping to make it the most comprehensive list on the web.
A few quick thoughts:
Put your Netflix on hold, ditch your smartphone, stop renovating your house, sell your rental properties, divest of predatory stocks, do whatever you need to do to free up cash. We have friends in the poorest nation in Europe (Moldova) who are hosting two hundred people, so let’s step the hell up.
Please send this to any and all friends who supported the Ottawa trucker “freedom” convoy — if they can raise $10 million against vaccine mandates, I’m really hoping they can step up and re-allocate their refunded donations to feed refugee children amidst a real invasion of human rights.
If you know of any other organizations I should add to this list, please add them in the comments. [>>>Please include org name, website, location, what they’re focusing on, and a direct give link.]
